
| Kerry Knoll Position: non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Knoll has 28 years of experience in the mining industry. He was formerly Chairman of the Board of Glencairn Gold Corporation, now B2GOLD Corp., until October 2007 and, prior to that, he was President of Glencairn since its incorporation in 1987. He was also the co-founder of Wheaton River Minerals Ltd., now Goldcorp, and stayed with that company for 11 years in various capacities, including President, as it developed the first successful heap leach gold project in Canada. Mr. Knoll was also a co-founder of Blue Pearl Mining Ltd., which acquired Thompson Creek Metals in October 2006. Mr. Knoll currently sits on the board of directors of Thompson Creek Metals and Golden Goose Resources. Other accomplishments during his career include terms as the editor of both The Northern Miner Magazine and the Canadian Mining Journal. | |
| Robert Cudney Position: Director Mr. Cudney founded Northfield Capital Corp. in 1981 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and President. He is a director of several reporting issuers, including Aspen Group Resources Corp; Bear Lake Gold Ltd., FNX Mining Company and Mill City Gold Corp. He has also served as a director of more than 20 other publicly traded companies in the past. Mr. Cudney was instrumental in the founding of many of these companies, including FNX Mining Company and Gold Eagle Mines, which was recently acquired by Goldcorp. | Ian McDonald Position: Director Mr. McDonald is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (formerly Blue Pearl Minerals Ltd.), one of the world's largest molybdenum producers. He co-founded Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. in 2004 and has held various positions including Executive Chairman, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. He is also currently Co-Chairman of Stonegate Agricom Ltd., a private company involved in mining industry investment. He was also Chairman of the Board of Glencairn Gold Corporation (now B2 Gold Corp.) from 1988 to 2006, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. (now Goldcorp Inc.) for 11 years until 2001, guiding it from a junior explorer into a successful Canadian heap leach miner. Mr. McDonald has more than 25 years experience in the resource sector in progressively more senior roles as financial adviser, company founder, senior executive and board chairman of junior and intermediate mining companies. | |
| Peter Secker Position: Chief Executive Officer and Director Mr. Secker was Chief Executive Officer of JMS Civil and Mining, located in Brisbane, Australia. JMS is a civil and mining engineering firm with revenues of $300 million. Previous to that he was Chief Executive Officer of Michelago Ltd., which is now part of Sino Gold. Under his stewardship, Michelago built a 150,000 oz gold mine in Shandong province, China. Mr. Secker was also Vice-president, Operations for Sino Gold, at the time it was a joint venture between the Chinese Government and Macquarie Bank and during which time he directed the construction of the Jianchaling Gold Mine. His career also includes periods as Mine Manager of Emperor Mines Ltd. in Fiji, Operations Manager of the Youanmi Gold Mine in Australia, and Mine Captain at the Rand Mine in South Africa. | |
